In a response to a FOIA request by Louisiana Voice's Tom Aswell (who initially broke the whole scandal on 7/11/14), LSP Capt. Jason Starnes expresses disdain for Louisiana Voice reporter Robert Burns having videotaped the preceding LSPRB meeting.   In his July 31, 2014 blog entry, Mr. Aswell provides great insight and analysis of those internal emails.  It's interesting to note that the email is dated July 16, 2014 (the same day of the meeting and the same day the videos were uploaded and this page became available to the public).  Talk about fast efforts to go into "scramble mode" in creating talking points to try and keep the retirement boost intact!!
